Introduction to our new series on the Book of Galatians. We will be focusing on the historical occasion for this epistle by Paul, as well as the influence that this epistle had on the Protestant Reformation.

With Paul’s argument against apostasy completed with an answer of living in the Spirit, Paul gives further instructions on what it means to live in community with each other in the church’s labor for the Gospel.

How dare the Galatians believe they can somehow add something to the finished work of Calvary? How dare we?! God initiates salvation. The son accomplishes our salvation. The holy spirit seals our salvation. All this is the Grace of God.
