EXCHANGE
“I was condemned that you might be justified”
review (life instead of death)
1. Jesus and Adam had possibility to live right.
2. Jesus lived a righteous life for you; Jesus died for your not righteous life.
3. God wouldn’t be a God if He would forget or refuse to pay you for your shortcomings.
4. Gift cannot be deserved and it’s free.
5. Drink My blood is:
Death is present when life is absent, life is absent when the blood is out.
Punished for sin is death (absence of blood because life is in the blood)
Jesus sinless decides (you cannot kill God) to take your punishment by shedding His blood.
Activating the death of Jesus: trust (not mental acceptance) in Him; no receipt for a product in Best Buy; example of Heavenly Scene. Drinking blood is a proof that your punishment is paid in full.
I was abandoned that you might be saved; I was rejected that you might be accepted; I was bound that you might be free; I was punished that you might be forgiven; I was put to shame that you might be in glory; I was bruised that you might be healed; I was condemned that you might be justified; I became cursed that you might be blessed; I became poor that you might be rich; I became sinful that you might become righteous; I died that you might live
Why there is so much suffering, trouble, and “accidents”?
Braking of the law is the result of all the suffering, sickness, discouragement, trouble, and death.
There is none who wouldn’t brake the driving law, as much as there is none who will brake the law of God.
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Truth: Bills come because of accident, accident comes as a result of braking the law.
Consequences come because of sin, sin is braking God’s law.
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death...”
Genesis 3:16-19, 23-24 “...nature...animals...creation...work for survival...sorrow...separation from God...”
Life in Garden of Eden: Man knew himself cause he knew God. There was no consequence of sin, in the Garden cause there was no sin. Never tired, and no death. Enjoying, not enduring life. Nature, animals, and creation were not cursed.
Sin is the fountain of sorrow, HURT, trouble, conflict, disorder, suffering, anxiety, danger, sickness (Mark 2:1-12), illness, disease, curse (Galatians 3:10-14), shame, poverty, guilt, addiction, rejection, grief, misery, unhappiness, pain, sadness, depression, oppression, disappointment, discouragement, pessimism, despair, hatred, bitterness, anger, strife, jealousy, murder, helplessness, worry, resentment, hopelessness, worthlessness.
Truth: At the court you were pronounced not guilty by your lawyer. It’s not your fault.
Jesus was pronounced guilty being not guilty
We were pronounced not guilty being guilty (perfect, faultless, no mistake, made just, right)
Romans 3:24 “Being justified without any cost by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”
Acts 13:39 “and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.”
Truth: You are not responsible for the bills, for you are not guilty.
The bill is not yours, you didn’t deserve it. (AOL Service bills)
Right attitude comes as a result of revelation of the cross.
If you refuse to pay for the bill of going to hell, why don’t you refuse to pay for lesser ones?
Guilt brings a bill, innocence brings a check.
We are paying bills when we are suppose to receive checks.
Conclusion:
1. Accept the Truth. 2. Thank Jesus for “exchange” 3. Renounce (say the truth) 4. Resist it when it will come again.
