107 The Handwriting of Death
Daniel 5:1–7, 17–18, 24–28
Despite God’s warnings, man continues to forget God. Belshazzar is an example of what happens to a man who neglects God. Man has forgotten God in all phases of his life.

1. THE FEAST—vv. 1–4

2. THE FEAR—vv. 5–7

3. THE FUTURE—vv. 17–18, 20–28

Never be so busy that you have no time for God. Man is foolish to think that he can live without God. Most men feel they will live in pleasure and then just a short time before death take time for God.
Croft M. Pentz, 150 Expository Sermon Outlines, Dollar Sermon Library Series (Grand Rapids, MI: Baker Book House, 1972), 61–62.
