God really will meet your needs, becuase He is your father who love you.

What is the fallen condition focus?
What is the fallen condition focus?
The Fallen Condition Focus (FCF) is the mutual human condition that contemporary believers share with those to or about whom the text was written that requires the grace of the passage for God’s people to glorify and enjoy him.
They struggled to trust God for their needs/wants/desires - as we do
They struggled to obey God’s instruction - as we do
Why? — the don’t know how to live free.
Their hearts long for Egypt
39 Our ancestors were unwilling to obey him. Instead, they pushed him aside, and in their hearts turned back to Egypt.
They didn’t really have a trusting faith in the Lord
— but we do! Through Christ and his spirit.
Tim Keller: Five Questions
Tim Keller: Five Questions
Here’s the problem
We don’t obey God b/c we don’t trust God
Our hearts are still turned to sin
Here’s what we must do
we are called to obey the Lord’s instruction
Why we can’t do it
we are afraid, our faith is small, we don’t see God as he is.
How Jesus accomplish this for us
Jesus perfectly obeyed the Lord with all of his heart, soul mind and strength
How though faith in Jesus should we live now
He dies for our failures and gives us his perfect life
He also gives us his spirit to empower us to live as he did.
through our daily walk = feeding = abiding In Him.
